Is that the sound of wedding bells we hear in the distance? Engagement rumors are swirling for Rihanna after she was photographed wearing a diamond ring on that finger.

While attending a stand-up performance at Madison Square Garden this week, the “Wild Thoughts” singer couldn’t help but to flash a massive sparkler that was sure to ignite speculations. She made no attempts of hiding the eye-catching jewelry when she shared a photo of her outfit — an oversized Dolce & Gabbana jacket paired with a Céline tee and jeans — on Instagram.

As seen in paparazzi photos, the ring appeared to have a large champagne-colored center stone surrounded by several smaller white diamonds. The 29-year-old accessorized the large bauble with a thin silver band on her pinky.

Chris Rock, whose comedy show she was attending, also didn’t help quash the engagement rumors when he jokingly captioned a photo of the two of them: “New couple alert.”

Naturally, the Navy went into a frenzy over the prospect of our favorite Bad Gal finally settling down with her rumored beau, Hassan Jameel.

“If rihanna got secretly engaged I will scream,” jo___deci tweeted.

“Rihanna is engaged?” Twitter user movaughan97 mused. “I can’t wait for her to be the kween of Saudi Arabia.”

Rihanna was first linked to Hassan, an heir to Saudi Arabia’s largest Toyota distributor, this summer when she was spotted kissing the billionaire businessman during her vacation in Spain. Clad in a strapless brown bikini, the “Work” songstress was photographed packing major PDA with her beau in between sips of white wine at her resort’s swimming pool.

In October, the couple took their budding romance to Boston, where they were spied taking a food tour of the city before hitting up a local bowling alley for a Halloween date with friends. At the time, a source told Us Weekly “Rihanna and Hassan were canoodling all night.”

Since then, the two have been keeping a low profile to avoid more relationship rumors. Hassan did not appear to be out with RiRi when the Bajan Beauty was seen with her diamond ring.
