A TRIBUTE TO OUR AWESOME GRANDPA (HON. LOUIS A. UZUEGBU)

THIS TRIBUTE IS TO OUR BELOVED GRANDPA WHO SLEPT IN THE LORD

HON. LOUIS A. UZUEGBU (DARA-IGWE OMA)  AGED 75 YEARS

GOODBYE IN A BLAZE OF GLORY
The sudden death of our dear grandfather, has brought us to the understanding of what St. Paul says in Philippians 1:21 that “for me to live is Christ and to die is gain”.
Oh Papa! We miss you so much. The emptiness of the space you left in our lives is so deep, that it will be difficult to fill. Papa you left without saying goodbye; for this reason we peer longingly into light and darkness, hoping for a last glimpse so that even as you rest in peace, may we also find peace in the bosom of the Lord.

Your exit was a glorious one because we shall see you again. Granddad, you were a wonderful living experience, an epitome of generosity and an embodiment of honesty; to us your grandchildren, you are a grandfather, a mentor, a councilor, a peace maker  and a pillar of support to us and to all.

So strong and certain was your hand in showing us the way as we grew up so we thought that every grandfather was like you. But conclusively, we discovered that there are grandfathers, and there are indeed grandfathers.

Your rich experiences of life as a politician and a chorister, has filled our home with exotic stories. This ensured that we always gathered around you to listen to your tales and experiences. All grandchildren loves stories, and we were no exception.

In paying tribute to our grandpa, we sincerely wish to praise the name of God Almighty, for a wonderful grandpa. We will remember you as a living, vital presence and your memory will bring refreshment to our hearts and strengthen us in times of trouble.
Grandpa, your grandchildren say:
Rest in perfect peace,
We will one day meet you in heaven,

Adieu Papa!
Adieu the Valiant Warrior!

Ozioma Oguine et al

Your Grandchildren.
