The president-elect of the United States of America, Donald J Trump has appointed former 'Apprentice' contestant Omarosa Manigault to his transition team.
Manigault, appeared on the first season of Trump's reality TV show, Apprentice and was the director of the African-American outreach during Trump's campaign.
On Thursday, December 15, she was named as one of those on the transition's executive committee.
She came into the limelight of American television when she appeared on the Trump show. After which she regularly appeared on TV talk shows and then on sequel show called Celebrity Apprentice.
Earlier in the week, there were pictures of her with Trump at the Trump tower in New York.
Manigault was pictured at Trump Tower in New York for a meeting with the President-elect earlier this week.
She is one of eight others on the executive committee in charge of Trump's transition into the presidency, others include: Amata Coleman Radewagen, American Samoa's delegate to the House; Sheriff Butch Anderson of Dutchess County, New York; Oracle CEO Safra Catz; Tom Dadey, chairman of the Onondaga County, New York, GOP; Nick Langworthy, chairman of the Erie County, New York, GOP; Mike McCormack; Joe Mondello; and former Rep. John Sweeney.
