The home-based Super Eagles on Friday defeated their Libyan counterparts 1-0 in the ongoing African Nations Championship, keeping hopes of progressing to the next round alive.
Super Eagles will begin their CHAN 2018 campaign against the Amavubi of Rwanda on Monday (today) at the Stade Ibn Batouta, Tangier, Morocco. The Coach Salisu Yusuf-led team will hope to start the competition with a victory as the country searches for its first title in the competition designed for players plying their trade in the various domestic leagues on the continent.
Sunshine Stars midfielder, Dayo Ojo, believes victory in the succeeding matches will give them the needed confidence in the competition.
